9/7/16: More than 300 residents expressed their outrage at the two proposals presented to the MAC (Ovation Senior Living and Hawk Homesteads).
Watch for the EIR on Hawk coming this Fall, and MORE senior living proposals over the next several months.

8/25/16: The Planning Commission reviewed the proposal for "The Park at Granite Bay".  Thanks to all who attended this meeting and showed support for Defend Granite Bay and your fellow neighbors.   Unbelievably, the Commission chose to recommend the project 5-1.


8/12/16:  Check out this article about a massive development proposal in Squaw Valley, where the Calif Attorney General's letter cites concerns about "a faulty traffic study" included in the EIR.  Sound familiar?? These are the same Planning Commission and Traffic Depts that are reviewing new development plans in Granite Bay.

8/8/16:  Granite Bay MAC votes 3-1 to recommend Whitehawk I and II (contingent with increased buffer zones), despite comments from dozens of neighbors and a standing-room-only crowd. Public comment period ends 9/2/2016. Write !!

 7/11/16 :   Granite Bay MAC (Municipal Advisory Council) votes to not recommend for approval a proposed subdivision on Sierra College and Old Auburn Road ("The Park").
